A team of 170 employees works to implement the CCFD mission.

Desk officers monitor the progress of partner initiatives.
Project officers in different regions of France facilitate the animation work carried about by CCFD volunteers. They are also assisted in their roles by a team of salaried animators for the 99 diocesan delegations and the 1500 local teams.
Program officers work and lobby on the crosscutting study themes, namely food sovereignty, development financing, corporate social responsibility, peace.
The association
CCFD was founded in 1961 by movements and services of the Church in order to mobilise Christians in the fight against hunger.
Today CCFD comprises 28 movements and services of the Church. The national decision making Council is composed of the members of the General Assembly and twelve presidents elected by the bureaus of the diocesan delegations.
CCFD's president is Guy Aurenche.
