With the support of Sebastião Salgado, CCFD-Terre Solidaire launched the first edition of its CCFD-Terre Solidaire Photo Award for environmental and humanist photography in 2023.
Between the worlds of NGOs and photography, this award aims to: promote the career of documentary photographers, support the continuation of their committed work, and invite them to collaborate with the organization.
The three award winners were announced on February 16, 2023. Congratulations to Alessandro Cinque, Anush Babajanyan, and Emily Garthwaite for their talented and meaningful work./e

Jury 2023
An international jury made up of professionals in photography, photojournalism, and international solidarity met in January 2023.

The three award-winners received €50 000 grants divided among them. Thanks to this support, they continued their documentary projects in collaboration with CCFD-Terre Solidaire’s local partners in Iraq, India, and Latin America.
